In May 2024, Francesco and Lilia decided to embark on a new project: revitalizing the Antica Trattoria, located in the splendid Piazza Signorelli 30, directly across from the MAEC Museum.
A dream that, step by step, came to fruition in March 2025 with the achievement of the first major milestone: connecting the restaurant with Bar La Posta, creating an intimate and evocative passageway that unites two historic establishments in the center of Cortona.
From this connection was born the desire to go further, to merge not only the spaces, but also their identities, values, and vision. The names "Antica Trattoria" and "Bar La Posta" no longer reflect the evolution of the project, the new audience, and the philosophy that today guides our gastronomic and hospitality experience.

For this reason, we have chosen to start over with a new name: CORTONESI
